**Description**

Wastequip's Confab Division is seeking a Janitor in our Galt, CA location. This is a full time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation/Sick time, and so much more. The Janitor is responsible for the general upkeep of the building by keeping it clean and in orderly condition.

**Responsibilities**

* Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, bathrooms, windows and walls

* Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones

* Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed

* Maintain outdoor grounds, cut grass and trim bushes

* Remove debris from sidewalks

* Empty trash and recycling bins

* Perform minor repairs and support maintenance technician in major repairs

* Support in packaging and perform subassembly as needed

**Qualifications**

* Good communication skills

* Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them

* Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces

* Ability to use some power tools such as gardening trimmers, power washers, etc.

* Ability to lift and move at least 45 pounds

* Good organization skills

* Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners

* Excellent time-management skills
