Job Summary

Prairie Elementary School, Shasta County

Teaching special education students with moderate to severe disabilities. Case manage students in class, write IEPs, schedule and hold IEP meetings, and assess students. Up to 10 students in the classroom, with 3 aides to assist with student needs.

STRS retirement participant. Health, Dental, and Vision benefits for employees. Education reimbursement for the prior 3 years.

Education stipend:
Masters - $1,250
Doctorate - $2,500
Add'l SpEd Credential - $1,000
Note: Course reimbursement up to $3000 if taken within the last 3 years prior to hire unless receiving a hiring bonus in-lieu of.
Credit for all years of related experience when placing on salary schedule.
MVJPA will pay $10,500 towards medical benefits, each school year.
