Join Our Client's Leadership Team: Shape the Future of Luxury Hospitality

Are you a dynamic leader passionate about operational excellence and five-star guest experiences? We're seeking a Director of Operations to join our 5-Star Hotel client's executive team in Los Angeles County. In this high-impact, full-time permanent role, you'll report directly to the General Manager and play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction and day-to-day performance of a premier hospitality property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the acting General Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless leadership continuity
• Co-develop and execute the annual Operations Plan to achieve financial and service goals
• Lead monthly forecasting and performance analysis for all key departments, including Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Security, and Staff Accommodations
• Drive revenue through strategic yield and inventory management across Rooms and Food & Beverage
• Partner on capital projects, including planning and overseeing execution
• Champion service excellence by ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards and guest satisfaction initiatives
• Resolve guest concerns with poise and urgency, ensuring effective follow-up and service recovery
• Oversee Department Heads across multiple operational units to ensure efficiency and service consistency
• Support staffing strategies and workforce planning to maintain productivity and morale
• Prepare month-end and forecast commentary for the President of Hospitality
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and Executive Leadership on cross-functional initiatives
• Review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts in partnership with the General Manager
• Maintain and update Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans
• Promote a proactive health and safety culture across departments
• Serve as a core member of the Hotel Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team
• Ensure full compliance with the Annual Budget and 5-Year Strategic Plan

• Proven experience in senior hospitality operations (preferably within a luxury or upscale environment)
• Strong financial acumen and a results-driven mindset
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing cross-functional teams with a focus on collaboration and service excellence
• Knowledge of operational systems, compliance protocols, and industry trends
