Responsibilities

The Biomed Site Lead manages all aspects of service within her/his assigned account, including the professional administration of the Equipment Management Program. This role is crucial to the success of the program, with responsibilities and duties flowing through the Biomed Site Lead. The facility's impression of the program's success depends directly on this position. Professionalism, a proactive attitude, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience OR Associate's degree plus 5 years of experience.
  • Proficient in using all applicable test equipment and tools required for duties.
  • High self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations such as TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.
  • Good business skills, confidentiality, professionalism, and ethics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Capability to write reports and deliver presentations on technical and operational issues.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, clinical applications, and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and blueprints.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., A+, CBET, CCE, CHTM) are preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.

BioMedical Services, Inc. offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, a 401K plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and other voluntary benefits. The estimated total compensation range for this role is $28.22 to $39.41 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, education, and credentials. The final offer will be determined during the hiring process.
