Responsibilities

Direct and manage all activities related to the physical plant, ancillary systems, Engineering, Grounds, EVS, Security, and Safety. Oversee construction and remodeling projects, acting as liaison with vendors and contractors. Represent the hospital positively to patients, visitors, physicians, and the public.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous materials, and safety management experience required. Management experience necessary.
  • Minimum of 3 years hospital experience in Plant Operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospital codes and management of Facilities departments (EVS, Security, Grounds, Biomed, etc.).
  • Knowledge of facility buildings, equipment, utilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Engineering preferred.

The estimated annual total rewards package ranges from $83,200 to $120,494, with exact starting salary determined at hire based on experience and credentials.
