Position Description

Job Description:

1. Driving a Ford F-550 flatbed truck with dump bed. General Labor working alone or with other employees. Assist Saw Operator with cutting & removing concrete & asphalt with burke bar, 2-wheel dolly, or jackhammer.
2. Some interior demolition, removing drywall, metal, or wood stud walls, drop ceilings, old plumbing pipes, and electrical conduit.
3. Work with crews or independently on jobs.
4. Pass a required pre-employment drug screen.
5. Pass pre-employment background check.
6. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving history.
7. Ability to work dayshift and some nights & weekends or out of town if necessary.
8. Must have reliable transportation.
9. Must have steel toe leather work boots.
10. Must be able to read job tickets, safety plans & fill out job safety pre-task plan.
11. Communication understanding is key.
12. Must be able to communicate clearly with dispatch & supervisors.

Travel:

1. May be subject to some short periods of out-of-town work on occasion if needed.

1. Must have some experience working with pneumatic & electric jackhammers and rivet busters.

7. Willing to learn to operate other power tools.
8. Must be able to lift & move 45 lbs or more.
9. Must be able to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain).
