Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Transportation/Traffic Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on diverse transportation projects, focusing on traffic safety analysis and transportation engineering. Responsibilities include designing, planning, and overseeing projects, ensuring safety standards are met. You should have a strong understanding of transportation engineering principles, analytical skills, and a passion for safety.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct traffic safety analyses and studies.
2. Design and implement transportation engineering solutions.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
4. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
5. Review transportation plans and designs for compliance.
6. Monitor traffic patterns and road conditions.
7. Provide expert advice on traffic safety and project management.
8. Stay updated with advancements in transportation engineering.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering; Master's preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in transportation engineering focusing on traffic safety.
3. PE license is required.
4. Proficient in traffic modeling software and engineering tools.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
6. Knowledge of traffic safety regulations and standards.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and in teams.
9. Commitment to transportation safety and efficiency.
10. Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and similar software is a plus.
