The role of the Admissions Communications and Campus Visit Coordinator is part of the Office of Admissions. Duties include creating and maintaining written communication with prospective students. Written communication includes, but is not limited to, email communication flow, bulk texting, website content, and social media messaging. This role is responsible for regular assessment of communication needs as they relate to market trends and research. This role is responsible for organizing and planning all on-campus events and virtual guests. They are to ensure that customers are provided with an excellent experience while gaining a positive perspective of Simpson University. This role will monitor the welcome center reception area and direct calls as needed to various stakeholders at Simpson University.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a bachelor's degree required

2. Demonstrated computer aptitude and proficiency

3. Must display excellent written communication skills

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

5. Experience with content creation and content management preferred

6. Organized, detail-oriented, precise, focused, and accurate

7. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills required

8. Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time

9. Experience in event planning, customer service, and communications is required.

Essential Functions:

1. Coordinate all written communication with Admissions application cycles

a. Traditional Undergraduate, Adult Degree Completion, Tozer Seminary, School of Education, Graduate Studies

2. Establish strong brand and collaboration between email, text, web, and social media content

3. Update pre-existing communication and perform regular maintenance as needed

4. Function as master of all communication campaigns in conjunction with Dean of Enrollment Management

5. Provide insights and data analysis for future promotions

6. Develop, manage and run reports from Salesforce, tracking the enrollment funnel activity/statistics in relation to campaigns

7. Collaborate with SimpsonU departments for accurate and timely messaging of student's admissions process

8. Ensure that Admissions email drip campaigns are running properly and to appropriate market segments

9. Track campaigns effectiveness and provide insights for proposed changes (i.e. email open rates, social media engagement)

10. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, communication, and organizational skills in executing job responsibilities.

11. Communicates effectively and courteously with others including students, administration, employees, parents, guests, and the public in a spirit of respect, teamwork, and customer service.

12. Plan and execute prospective student visit events, virtual events, and individual visits.

13. Staff the welcome center front desk and ensure that all staff are trained and knowledgeable of personnel and tactful question asking to provide excellent customer service over the phone.

14. Meet and maintain high-level metrics for visits and new student recruitment established by the Director of Admissions.

15. Promote Simpson University by traveling to college/transfer fairs, high schools, churches and building relationships with influencers.

16. Organize visitation area. Keep inventory for visit materials. Coordinate any purchasing that needs to be completed for visits and events.

17. Assist the Director of Admissions with the selection of recruitment events and communicate required information to remaining staff.

18. Work directly with all students from the visit and call centers to assure quality sales techniques are being utilized and create a training series for student employees.

19. Provide leadership, supervision, accountability, scheduling, and training to student staff as they maintain regular contact with prospective students, including ASBSU student government leaders and the Campus Activities Board.

20. Research, recommend, implement, and assess best practices in respective field.

21. Assist in evaluating and improving current recruitment processes, procedures, and strategies.

22. Maintain a current understanding of various recruitment information including, but not limited to Student Development, Student Support Services, Financial Aid, the Registrar, Athletics and Academics.
