Job Description

Responsible for creating, developing, and executing creative content, direction, quality, and guest experience for assigned projects. This includes establishing the creative story, collaborating with IP holders, and directing project deliverables to meet creative and operational goals. Works closely with the Art Director, Show Producer, and project team to develop and direct the creative and design intent.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the creative development of projects affecting guest experience, exploring multiple options to determine the best direction.
  2. Oversee and ensure the quality of all project elements aligned with guest experience goals.
  3. Maintain the project's creative vision, inspiring the team and adapting as necessary.
  4. Collaborate with the Show Producer to uphold the creative intent throughout all project phases.
  5. Create and present project materials to internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Identify and procure talent and resources needed for the project.
  7. Act as a liaison with partners, licensors, and IP owners.
  8. Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities as per company policy.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Manage teams of creative personnel and coordinate with outside vendors and consultants, ensuring supervisory responsibilities are in accordance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Theatre, Film/Production, or related field.
  2. 10 years of relevant project and design experience, especially in the entertainment/theme park industry.
  3. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, CAD, and Microsoft Office.
  4. Knowledge of design, development, contracting, and construction processes.
  5. Experience with thematic materials and finishes.

On-Site Requirement: Full-time work at an NBCUniversal-designated location.

This position offers benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and discounts. Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 (bonus eligible).
