Role Overview:

There is currently an opportunity to join the team as a Territory Sales Manager - Southern California, further launching the Zip brand and HydroTap product range into the North American market. This role is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships in the luxury kitchen appliance and plumbing industry through retail partners, designers, builders, and individual influencers. The position involves creating demand by managing sales pipelines, working closely with sales associates and Zip dealers, developing relationships through strategizing, conducting training, hosting events, and related activities. Role Responsibilities :

  1. Account Development:
    • Conduct trade trainings and lunch-and-learns with potential, new, and existing trade partners.
    • Ensure quality control of all display, POS, and merchandising at partner locations.
    • Forecast, strategize, and communicate specific growth objectives with partners.
    • Hold live events around product launches to generate activity.
    • Ensure the Zip brand is displayed and presented correctly on partner websites, upholding company standards.
    • Travel regularly to visit dealers, designers, builders, and influencers.
    • Identify saturation opportunities in geographic locations.
    • Develop and manage sales pipelines.
    • Conduct periodic business reviews with accounts to ensure growth potential.
  2. Relationships:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with trade partners including management, sales, designers, influencers, and specifiers.
    • Make periodic visits to build and maintain productive relationships.
    • Identify and contact new partners, dealers, or accounts to establish relationships and secure showroom displays.
    • Conduct regular training and events based on a dealer contact strategy.
    • Report market trends, new products, and issues to management.
  3. Products & Market:
    • Meet and exceed sales and margin budgets for the region.
    • Stay informed on industry trends and technologies.
    • Participate in trade shows, presentations, and introduce new products.
    • Assist customers in product selection, design, and specifications to maximize ZIP product integration.
  4. Administration & Reporting:
    • Manage trade customer call cycles and data within Salesforce CRM.
    • Maintain an accurate record of activities within Salesforce.
    • Contribute to weekly team meetings with updates on activities, successes, and challenges.
    • Work closely with the General Sales Manager on strategy and implementation.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • 3-5 years of outside/B2B sales or similar experience, preferably in residential market or with designers.
  • Experience in luxury appliances or plumbing industry is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Interior Design, Building Sciences, or Construction.
  • Management major preferred.
  • Proven sales and account management skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time and process management skills.
  • Ability to build stakeholder relationships and a track record of sales achievements.
  • Confidence in conducting formal presentations.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
