Alliance Resource Group is partnering with a reputable real estate/financial services firm seeking a Senior Accountant. This onsite role is based in Orange County. The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the accounting team, handling corporate accounting tasks such as consolidation of subsidiaries, monthly and quarterly reporting, cash management, investment and investor reporting, and departmentalized operating budgets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Reporting:
   • Manage full-cycle accounting and reporting functions.
   • Prepare quarterly board materials with financial reports.
   • Complete monthly and quarterly lender reports.
   • Handle month-end consolidations, eliminations, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
   • Prepare workpapers for annual audits.
   • Record monthly debt activity for corporate credit lines.
   • Assist in corporate budgeting, including intercompany transactions and consolidations.
   • Support special projects and prepare ad hoc reports.
   • Research and resolve accounting issues proactively.
   • Collaborate with the team and assist with ad hoc projects.
   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

1. Education / Experience:
   • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
   • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including xlookups and index-match.
   • Strong understanding of technical accounting principles.
2. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
   • CPA designation is a plus.
