Base pay range: $30,000.00 / yr - $250,000.00 / yr

A small, yet very successful business located in West Los Angeles is looking for a CFO. While working closely with the COO and managing a small team, the CFO will have hands-on responsibility for accounting, finance, and business operations. The CFO will ensure efficient accounting policies and procedures, monitor staff production, perform strategic analysis, create and analyze fiscal budgets, conduct real estate underwriting, evaluate real estate property acquisitions, oversee profitability, handle monthly / quarterly / annual closes, accounts payable and receivable, manage company operations, review cash flow reporting and cyclical variances, and analyze market segments for expansion—being responsible for the organization's profitability. The CFO will also manage investments for the CEO's portfolio, collaborate with the CEO and COO's financial teams, coordinate with external auditors and partners, and make periodic visits to operational sites.

• Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a small business environment is necessary.
• Experience in the agricultural, farming, or crop industry is required.
• Ideal candidates will have experience evaluating and underwriting real estate acquisitions and managing investments (e.g., IRR, NAV, revenue forecasting).
• Must be hands-on, willing to participate actively in the work.
• Demonstrated career stability and leadership skills are essential.
• Background in enhancing accounting policies and procedures is preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and strong Excel skills are important.

Salary range: $250,000 - $300,000+ bonus.
