Position: Route Sales Director
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000/year
Location: Redding, CA

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a talented Route Sales Director to join our team. This role involves managing and supporting Route Sales Representatives in customer relationship management, sales activities, and market growth. The Director will develop sales strategies, interact with customers and RSRs, analyze sales data, and collaborate with leadership to improve sales performance and customer relationships.

Position Responsibilities

1. Oversee business operations within the assigned area, including budgeting and marketing collaboration.
2. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in job duties.
3. Call on customers with RSRs to promote sales and brand awareness.
4. Advise RSRs on customer relationship development.
5. Plan key account visits to build rapport and increase sales.
6. Analyze market opportunities and collaborate with RSRs to grow territories.
7. Conduct weekly reviews with the Market VP on sales data and growth objectives.
8. Stay informed on consumer insights and adjust strategies accordingly.
9. Identify new customer acquisition opportunities.
10. Assist RSRs with product promotions and displays.
11. Monitor market conditions and advise on promotional effectiveness.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
13. Perform additional duties as required, including attendance and schedule adherence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management or sales roles, including sales or distribution experience.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
