Mechanical Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Salary: $120K - $160K + Bonus

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, requiring strong leadership and technical expertise in mechanical systems, commercial practices, and construction project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget for mechanical projects.
• Coordinate and supervise mechanical engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Oversee the estimating process and prepare cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to report progress and address issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Experience with project estimating and managing change orders.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
