Pay Scale: $23 - $25 per hour, depending on experience and certification(s)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Type: Full-time

Curtis Homes LLC is a care provider for individuals with developmental disabilities. We are based out of Shasta and Butte County. We provide licensed care services to adults and children, and Supported Living Services to adults. In addition to this, we are vendored to provide a variety of supplemental services, such as individual and family training, enhanced behavioral supports, transportation, and others.

Position Summary

The Facility Manager plays a crucial role in managing day to day operations of the facility. They coordinate care and support for adolescent clients aged 8-17, maintain safety and well-being within the home, guide staff, and ensure implementation of clients' Individual Support Plans (ISP). They act as the primary liaison between the home and the Operations Manager, managing day-to-day activities, staff supervision, and client progress.They are responsible for supporting and developing their team, ensuring high-quality client care, maintaining program standards, and achieving operational goals.

Core Responsibilities

Below is a list of areas in the company that the Facility Manager will be involved in.

  • Direct Care
    • As with all employees, the ability to provide direct care proportionate to or greater than the role of a Direct Support Professional
  • Administration
    • Creating staff schedules
    • Approving staff timecards
    • Reporting incidents within the required timeframe
    • Analysis & Decision Making
    • Digital and Physical File Management
    • Facilitation of Communication w/ Related Programs
    • Resolve interpersonal conflicts with staff effectively
  • Clinical
    • Implementing Behavior Plans
    • Feedback & Training for Employees
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in field of developmental disabilities
  • Familiarity with Regional Center & vendor system
  • Physically able to be certified in crisis management and manage physical behaviors
  • Able to be insured to operate company vehicles
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED
  • Certification in Water Safety
  • Employable in the State of California
  • Able to pass a Live Scan background check

Certifications

The Facility Manager is required to obtain, at point of hire or within 6 months:

  1. Behavior Tools Certification
  2. PCM Practitioner 2 Certification
  3. DSP I within 1 year
  4. DSP II within 2 years
  5. Ukeru
  6. Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED
  7. Certification in Water Safety
