Compensation: Salary range $65,000 - $115,000; Commensurate to Skills and Experience

Hours: Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Position Description

Maas Energy Works is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of project management principles and the ability to independently manage all facets of a project, including engineering and design, financial analysis, scheduling, legal agreements, procurement, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and efficiency while collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Oversee project design and engineering processes to ensure technical and operational success.
  • Develop and manage financial models, budgets, and cost projections to support project viability.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, including supplier agreements, operations and maintenance contracts, easements, leases, and construction agreements.
  • Coordinate permitting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage procurement of equipment and materials essential to project execution.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Lead the bidding and request-for-proposal (RFP) processes with vendors and contractors.
  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Oversee project commissioning and successful handover to operational teams.
  • Provide clear and consistent updates to project stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven experience in managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
  • Expertise in financial analysis and budget management.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal agreements and contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory standards.
  • Experience in equipment procurement and vendor coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Ability to lead competitive bidding processes and evaluate proposals effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in construction oversight and project commissioning.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Must be proficient in English.
