This specification describes a recruiting and developmental multi-range class used throughout state service to perform a broad range of interdisciplinary activities primarily related to the administration of state programs. Responsibilities include program evaluation, development, budgeting, planning, training, management, and personnel analysis.
Under supervision, incumbents may audit, calculate, gather, tabulate, compile, reconcile, interpret, and analyze data; develop solutions; provide recommendations; develop procedures; plan, implement, monitor, forecast, and evaluate assignments, projects, and initiatives; conduct compliance reviews and evaluations; plan and conduct training; respond to inquiries; coordinate with stakeholders; review legislation; conduct eligibility analysis; administer contracts/grants; and perform other program analyses. These duties require research, analysis, and the use of independent judgment to interpret statutes, regulations, and policies.
