Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Health Services and certificated staff, the aide assists in planning and implementing educational programs tailored to students' needs. The position involves indirect supervision by a school nurse, performing specialized health care procedures as directed. The aide creates a nurturing, supportive atmosphere that fosters positive relationships among students and staff. Training will be provided for health care procedures that do not require direct supervision.

Requirements / Qualifications

Completed online application, including:

  1. Letter of application
  2. Resume
  3. Three (3) letters of reference/recommendation
  4. Transcripts showing completion of 48 units from an accredited college/university, an A.A. degree or higher, or passing a local assessment test (paraprofessional certificate)
  5. First Aid and CPR certificates authorized by a local agency
