The Real Estate Services Department (RESD) is seeking highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individuals to join our team as a Management Aide.* This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the operational success of the department while gaining valuable experience in policy development, fiscal management, and personnel services. This position will support Real Estate Services Department and Project & Facilities Management Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the research and development of operational policies and procedures, ensuring that they align with department goals and regulatory standards.

Provide administrative support to fiscal and personnel services, helping manage budgets, financial reporting, and personnel management functions.

Assist with general administrative duties, including drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and maintaining records.

Supervise a small staff of Office Assistants or other clerical support staff, overseeing day-to-day operations, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely completion of duties.

Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of various departmental functions.

Substitutions

Experience Substitution: Fifteen (15) semester (22.5 quarter) units of completed upper division college coursework in public/business administration or qualifying field may be substituted for six (6) months of experience.

Education Substitution: One (1) year of additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of college coursework.

Note: Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing projects, as well as presenting data and business information visually. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EMACS/NEOGOV are highly desirable.

    Where We Are a Service Provider

    Our Customers are organizations such as federal, state, local, tribal, or other municipal government agencies (including administrative agencies, departments, and offices thereof), private businesses, and educational institutions (including without limitation K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and vocational schools), who use our Services to evaluate job applicants and/or manage their relationship with their personnel. When we provide our Services to our Customers, the Customer generally controls and manages the personal data (which may include sensitive personal data such as biometric information for timeclock tracking, your precise geolocation information, health information, and demographic information like race and ethnicity related to the employment relationship), and we process personal data as a "data processor" or "service provider" (as these terms are defined in applicable data protection laws). Any use of analytics or engagement technologies that process personal data, including tools that analyze user behavior or associate usage with identifiers, are implemented solely as a data processor or service provider in these scenarios, and such data is not used by NEOGOV for its own commercial purposes. Our legal obligations as a processor and service provider are set out in our Customer contracts and policies.
