Job Details

Responsible for all phlebotomy and assisting with the performance of some of the Clinical Laboratory procedures under the supervision of a medical technologist. This person will maintain patient result records, laboratory documents, log sheets, make daily charges, as well as chart results. Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required. Additional Qualifications/ Skills: ASCP phlebotomy certification preferred. Documented training in all areas of the clinical laboratory preferred. Experience in a clinical laboratory, hospital, or critical care setting for a minimum of one (1) year preferred. Ability to work with Laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision preferred. Ability to project a professional image Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
