Position Information
The Strategic Project Manager serves as a key partner to the Vice Chancellor of Planning, Budget & Administration (VCPBA), ensuring that institutional priorities, special initiatives, and cross-divisional projects are effectively advanced. This position supports planning, communication and coordination functions across the VCPBA organization that includes FP&A, Facilities, Business & Financial Services, Planning Design & Construction, Auxiliary Services, EH&S – Risk Services, Real Estate Services & Institutional Research. The successful candidate will be an organized communicator who can distill complexity, develop executive-level materials, and help move important projects forward in a timely structured way. The full salary range for the Strategic Project Manager is $103,100 - $196,300 per year. However, the expected pay scale for this position is from $103,100 - $150,000 per year. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
