Overview

The General Manager leads the restaurant to ensure a customer-centric, high-performance, and agile operation that promotes customer loyalty. They represent Campero as the local face of the brand and are responsible for all aspects of running a successful Campero restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Establish objectives and goals for operations and supervise daily shift operations.
• Implement best practices regarding restaurant operations.
• Model passion for service, creating an engaging environment for customers and employees.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Participate in the operational and technical training of employees.
• Provide timely performance feedback and ensure team development aligns with company plans, ensuring new staff comply with policies.
• Maintain safety and food quality standards.
• Verify customer satisfaction, handle complaints, and gather feedback on product quality and service.
• Organize staff schedules, track hours, and manage payroll records.
• Place orders with vendors.
• Manage P&L statements.
• Ensure accurate completion of end-of-day cash outs.
• Coordinate daily front- and back-of-house operations.
• Control operational costs and seek efficiencies.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding to maintain a complete team.
• Maintain sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in similar roles.
• Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: Food Handlers Card/ServSafe Certification.
• Proficient with computers.
• Adhere to personal care and hygiene policies.
• Able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.
• Pass background check.

Pay Range

Starting from USD $73,000.00 per year.
