Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with other departments to ensure project time lines are met
Cost-conscious - operate within budget restraints
Ensure employees have necessary tools and resources
Assist in resolving personnel issues in a timely manner
Conduct performance reviews
Quality control; extensive knowledge in heavy equipment required
Conduct safety orientation with each new hire
Schedule and assign work
Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player

Requirements
Qualifications:
Previous supervisor experience a plus
Mentor jr. technicians ensuring their job knowledge and skills increase
Extensive knowledge in safety procedures
Minimum 4 years experience maintaining/servicing heaving equipment
Must be detail-oriented, safety minded and promote team building
Must be able to lift 75# unassisted
Welding experience helpful
Hydraulic & electrical experience needed
Expert level diagnostic ability
Must be able to provide guidance and assistance to technicians
Ability to understand and follow manufacturer instructions
Possess a clean and valid driver's license, recent K4 printout required
Ability to multi-task
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
