Electrical Engineer R&D (Scientific Instrumentation) Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, and test electrical systems for advanced instrumentation.
  • Apply physics and mathematical modeling to solve measurement and signal-processing challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams including software, mechanical, and product design.
  • Develop algorithms and circuitry for non-destructive testing and material verification.
  • Conduct experiments, collect data, and refine designs for improved accuracy and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and support quality assurance processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in sensing, electronics, and materials science.

Electrical Engineer R&D (Scientific Instrumentation) Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong background in problem-solving, experimental methods, and modeling of physical systems.
  • Hands-on experience designing and testing circuits, sensors, and signal-processing systems.
  • Proficiency with design and simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or COMSOL.
  • Prior experience with scientific instrumentation, precision measurement, or non-destructive testing preferred.
