Job Requirements

• 1500 Hours Helicopter
• PIC 500 Hours in turbine helicopters
• 200 Hours Mountain Flying experience
• 100 Hours in the previous 12 months
• 10 Hours Mountain Flying experience in Make and Model (maybe provided)
• 50 Hours Night (unaided)
• Preferred 50 Hours in Make and Model (Bell 407, 429, 206) or 25 hours plus documented factory training
• Preferred 10 Hours in Make and Model (Bell 407, 429, 206) in the previous 12 months
• Preferred instrument rating
• Preferred VTR Experience
• Preferred previous Fire experience
• Preferred previous NVG experience

Job Description

Air Shasta Rotor & Wing, Inc. based in Redding, California is looking for full-time Bell 407 and 429 Utility/Fire Pilots. Air Shasta operates Bell 407, 429, and 206 helicopters in support of utility companies, day and night firefighting operations, and natural resource management projects. This is a full-time position with a rotational 12/12 schedule. Full-Time employees are eligible for health benefits and 401k employer match programs after the appropriate eligibility period. Applicants must meet the minimum experience requirement below for at least the Bell 407 (additional minimums for the Bell 429 and 206 preferred). Training for natural resource management projects, initial fire carding, and NVG operations may be provided to qualified candidates.
