We're hiring part-time senior counselors to join our close-knit, high-performing team. This is not a “build-your-own-practice” role — instead, you'll join a trusted system with an established meeting cadence, digital planning platforms, and strong communication tools. We're specifically looking for: • Experienced counselors with a strong track record (3+ years) • Tech-savvy professionals who enjoy tools like Google Docs, Zoom, Intercom, CRMs, and AI-assisted workflows • Coachable team players who embrace process, feedback, and collaboration • Empathetic communicators who work well with both students and parents This Might Not Be a Fit If: • You prefer to do things your own way and resist structured systems • You dislike using digital tools or working virtually • You aren't comfortable balancing communication with both students and their parents • You want full autonomy to coach however you wish If you're independent but not stubborn, strategic but not rigid, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Manage a caseload of high school students. • Follow a structured meeting cadence and planning process, supported by our platforms. • Collaborate with our internal team on student timelines, applications, and outcomes. • Guide students through academic planning, extracurricular development, college list creation, and essay strategy. • Help students improve executive functioning (organization, time management, follow-through). • Communicate consistently and clearly with families. • Lead or support admissions workshops and group info sessions. • Uphold CPSI's high standard of care, professionalism, and responsiveness. Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as a high school counselor, independent educational consultant, or college admissions counselor. • Deep understanding of the U.S. college admissions process, including selective admissions. • Strong comfort level with technology and virtual tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, CRMs, digital calendars, etc). • Excellent written and verbal communication. • High empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism. • Receptive to feedback and excited to learn our process and tools. • A graduate degree is preferred but not required. Compensation: $40 - $80 hourly
