Please note that this opening is exclusively for enrolled members of the Redding Rancheria Tribe (ages 11-23).

Redding Rancheria Tribal Youth Members, ages 11-23, have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience/ career training by working for the Redding Rancheria or one of its economic enterprises. Typically, Tribal Youth employment occurs during the summer break but this program is offered year round. There are no restrictions on the maximum number of hours they can work.

Our goal is to empower Tribal Youth by offering them diverse and enriching work experiences within our Tribal Government. We strive to foster professional growth, skill development, and deepen their understanding of the Tribe's operations, preparing our young members for a bright and successful future.

3 Programs Currently Exist for Redding Rancheria Tribal Youth:

• Tribal Youth Mentorship Program
  1. Ages 11-20
  2. Requires 6-9 hours of job shadowing
  3. $250 Stipend is award after mentorship completion

• Tribal Youth Employment Program
  1. Ages 14-18 (or until their completion/graduation of high school)
  2. Regular ongoing work shifts and schedules
  3. Tribal Youth receive regular paychecks on the payroll schedule

• Tribal Member Professional Development Program
  1. Ages 18-23
  2. Regular work shifts and schedules are available (Program last up to 12 weeks)
  3. Profession Development Interns receive regular paychecks on the payroll schedule
