About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Sleep Technologists to join an outpatient sleep laboratory in Redding, CA . In this role, you will conduct comprehensive overnight sleep studies (polysomnography) to support the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced technologists and new graduates , provided required licensure and certification criteria are met.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to determine appropriate testing parameters in collaboration with physicians and lab protocols.
• Prepare patients for overnight sleep studies and explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures.
• Monitor and record physiological data during sleep studies in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide age-appropriate care and education for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Generate accurate sleep study reports by analyzing and tabulating collected data.
• Perform routine care, maintenance, and inventory checks of sleep study equipment.
• Respond to patient questions related to procedures and testing.
• Participate in ongoing education (minimum one hour per month) provided by the Medical Director.

• Diploma or Associate's degree from an accredited sleep technology program.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
• Active California state license as a Sleep Technologist required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• New graduates are welcome to apply if licensed and certified in California.

• Full-Time
• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• No shift differential for nights or weekends
• Patient ratio: 3:1
• Patient age range: 3-100 years

• Pay Range: $25 - $40 per hour (based on experience)
