Youll operate forklift and clamp trucks to position inventory, stage orders, and load outbound trucks keeping safety, speed, and precision at the forefront. Your independence and accuracy help us exceed customer quality expectations every shift./ph2Responsibilities/h2ulliOperate forklift/clamp trucks to move finished goods from conveyors and place products into designated warehouse bays./liliRead work orders and follow instructions to determine materials to move; load and unload packaging supplies and finished products./liliSafely transport materials from receiving/production to storage, quarantine, or designated areas./liliUse industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading/moving materials and products./liliMark materials with identifying information; monitor outgoing finished products; maintain accurate paperwork (move sheets, load sheets, etc.)./liliReview production schedules, customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to pick, stage, or distribute items./liliUse computers to enter and maintain inventory records; perform equipment checks each shift./liliTrack finished goods produced during your shift and reconcile with production tallies./liliPull products from inventory and load outbound trucks; occasionally hand-stack and load products./liliParticipate in physical inventory counts; sort and place materials by size, type, style, color, or product code; operate man lifts as required./liliDrive a shuttle truck to move empty/full trailers between the trailer lot and loading docks./liliCommunicate with the Warehouse Coordinator/Shift Supervisor about inventory, orders, customer questions, and equipment maintenance needs./liliHelp identify issues across shifts by reviewing recorded data; uphold housekeeping standards and proper storage of tools/supplies./liliFollow all safety warning signs/signals; attend department/plant safety meetings; support continuous improvement in quality, environmental, health, and safety./liliPerform administrative duties and other related tasks as directed./li/ulh2Qualifications/h2pEducation: High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)./ppExperience: Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience in a manufacturing environment./ppCertifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain an OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License; man lift certified (or able to obtain)./ppSkills and abilities:/pulliStrong safety focus; follow established procedures and report unsafe conditions./liliAbility to read, write, and interpret written information; basic computer skills./liliAccurate counting and basic math, including simple equations/fractions./liliSound judgment, problem-solving, and time management; meet deadlines./liliTeam-oriented with strong communication; open to feedback and new ideas./liliAdherence to company policies, ISO/KIMS, and departmental procedures./liliCommitment to quality and continuous improvement; ethical and respectful conduct./li/ulpIt is the policy of Knauf Insulation to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic prohibited by applicable law./p/div
