Job Overview: The company is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with strong industry knowledge and exceptional customer-facing skills to help accelerate adoption of the company's technology across several markets. The Senior Sales Engineer will partner with the sales team to lead technical sales efforts for customers in many industries (including HVAC/R, pumps, robotics, aerospace & defense and others), acting as the bridge between engineering, product, and customers. You'll uncover customer needs, demonstrate technical value, guide solution design discussions, help build the business case, and drive opportunities from initial prospecting to commercialization; including prototype delivery, onsite testing, and contract close. This role requires a mix of mechanical systems expertise, technical knowledge of motors, hands-on engineering understanding, and polished communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for potential and existing industrial customers, OEMs, integrators, and engineering teams evaluating PCB Stator motor solutions.
  • Understand customer performance requirements, constraints, and design goals to propose tailored PCB Stator motor solutions and system configurations.
  • Perform market research and analysis to understand the applicable markets and potential customers for the company software and technology.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, ROI analyses, and product walkthroughs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to translate customer requirements into feasible design specifications.
  • Manage the entire sales engineering cycle: discovery, requirements gathering, application analysis, quoting, proposal development, and closing support.
  • Support field testing, pilot programs, and integration discussions as needed.
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with customers through consistent communication and high-quality support.
  • Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to influence roadmap improvements.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, standards, and competitive technologies.
  • Represent at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer events.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5+ years in a Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, or Technical Account Manager role, ideally within key verticals or related mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, components, and system design (e.g., air handlers, fan systems, compressors, pumps, robotics applications, motors, controls).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting OEM customers or large-scale B2B technical sales.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to varied audiences.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable reading engineering drawings, specifications, and performance data.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with motor technologies (BLDC, PMSM, ECM, or related).
  • Background in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable technical training.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and standard presentation software.
  • Experience with product customization projects or solution engineering.
  • Understanding of industrial efficiency standards and regulatory requirements (DOE, AHRI, etc.).
