Summary
The Mission Engagement Specialist (MES) is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of major agency events-most notably Bowl for Kids' Sake and Big Night of Bourbon. This role manages all event logistics from concept to completion, including venue coordination, vendor management, sponsor and donor engagement, and post-event evaluation. In collaboration with other departments, the MES supports fundraising efforts by cultivating event partnerships, securing sponsorships, and in-kind donations promptly and accurately by inputting individual and corporate donations into the customer relationship management (CRM) system. The MES is also responsible for volunteer and match engagement including collaborating with program on match activities, managing 3rd party event tickets, and regular communication with volunteers through Slack to keep them engaged and up to date on our agency.
