Your Day at Lowe's

As a Merchandising Services Associate, your main responsibilities include ensuring the store's signage, pricing, and displays are accurate, making merchandise easy for customers to find. You will create product displays that are safe, tidy, visually appealing, and accessible to customers.

While your role involves minimal direct customer interaction, you may engage with customers as needed, providing assistance, answering questions, and sharing product information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute merchandising resets and service-related tasks following Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned responsibilities.
  • Ensure buyback items are prepared and ready for shipping.
  • Update and validate wayfinding and product location signage and manage digital information across the store.
  • Verify product pricing is visible and replace any missing labels.
  • Enhance sales by properly staging clearance items and organizing products throughout the store.
  • Repair or replace damaged or missing items, including signage and displays.
  • Communicate project priorities and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
  • Analyze metrics and share feedback on project execution with store and corporate leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and listening.
  • Proficient in using web-based programs to complete tasks.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted, with the ability to lift more depending on accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience on the Lowe's sales floor.
  • Knowledge of product merchandising, including reading planograms and setting up displays.
  • Experience using power equipment like lifts or order pickers.
  • Familiarity with essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws).

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training, or supporting nearby stores.

Working Conditions

Environmental conditions vary by location, and you may work indoors and outdoors. Exposure to different climates and weather conditions is possible, as well as moderate to loud noise levels from equipment and operations.

Adhere to lifting guidelines based on role, weight, and volume. Single lifts are capped at 75 pounds, and team lifts should start at 75 pounds or when necessary. Use powered equipment where required, with the appropriate training or assistance.

Pay Range: $16.90 - $18.50 per hour
