Your Day at Lowe's

You will actively keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight and moving products to the sales floor while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You may also assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts involve physical labor, and your schedule may include morning, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting and guiding customers during their visits.
• Stock merchandise efficiently by unloading freight, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Assist in operations by verifying deliveries, preparing the dock, and using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols for hazardous materials and equipment usage.
• Utilize store equipment like scanners and other tools as needed.
• Collaborate as a team player to complete various assigned tasks.

Additional Responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include:

• Use designated apps to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
• Load delivery orders while ensuring quality and accuracy and adhering to safe loading practices.
• Rotate orders by delivery date and address any customer order issues.
• Communicate proactively with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
• Execute best practices for delivery readiness.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment.
• 6 months of experience in a warehouse setting involving inventory handling and stocking.

Travel Requirements

This position does not require regular travel, but occasional travel may be required for meetings or training sessions.

Working Conditions

Environmental conditions may vary by location, and you may need to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including temperatures that may be hot or cold. You may also encounter consistent noises and moving objects. Lifting methods will vary, with guidelines limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are encouraged for any weight above this limit. Use powered equipment for heavy lifts as required.
