Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. is seeking Transloaders for our Redding location. Successful candidates will be effective communicators, self-starters who operate effectively with little supervision, and emphasize attention to detail. Job duties include working hands-on with petroleum equipment, including but not limited to tanks, hoses, meters, vehicle operation while pulling trailers, etc. Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Relevant experience and/or certification in the operation of a mobile railcar mover are eligible for additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and prepare tank cars for safe unload into transport tankers and stationary storage tanks via specialized transload equipment.
• Coordinate with peers, management, and tank truck operators for safe, efficient fuel transfer.
• Produce and submit accurate documentation of metered gallons.
• Be a team player.
• Preventive maintenance and care of specialized equipment.
• General care and maintenance of rail facility and related property/properties.
• Proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Professional, courteous rapport with peers, management, and tank truck operators.
• Clear and concise communication through all aspects of the transload process.

• Receptive and responsive to periodic changes to schedules and equipment.
• Participate in periodic training and certification relevant to the position.
• Complete and retain all necessary equipment operator certifications.

• Pay range from $20-$28 per hour DOE, and relevant training and certifications
