JOB SUMMARY
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for providing a professional first, and continuing, impression of the school and providing support to various departments. This position performs administrative support by providing front-line customer service functions along with a variety of clerical support duties. The incumbent must have outstanding customer service skills and enjoy working with the public; will be expected to complete assignments in observance of established schedules; punctual with regular attendance; must be able to work independently, establish priorities and deadlines, understand and follow written and verbal direction, communicate effectively, and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Under direct supervision of the HR/EA, the Front Desk Receptionist is expected to:
- Answer incoming calls and route accordingly in a professional, pleasant, and efficient manner.
- Greet all guests and prospective students in a professional manner.
- Ensure all company correspondence (mail/fax) is correctly distributed.
- Collect monies and manage on campus accounts (i.e. CPR, student accounts, vending, etc.).
- Make service calls when necessary for the facility.
- Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and/or ongoing projects (PAC meetings, Graduation, New Student Orientation, Open House, etc.).
- Maintain adequate supplies and materials.
- Proofread general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.
- Create and audit new student files for Admissions Department; providing release/receipt documents to other departments as necessary.
- Establish, develop, maintain, and update student systems. This includes, but is not limited to enrolling new students, updating student records, and/or managing lead assignment and/or deletion.
- Process requests assisting with the Admissions/Enrollment process. This includes, but is not limited to preparing and sending transcripts, requesting and tracking proof of graduation records, updating start progression for new students, proctoring/sending Wonderlic assessments, etc.
- Responsible for all scrub fittings.
- Provide administrative support for the Registrar.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Assistant/HR Coordinator, and/or Campus President.
QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 3-years' experience in reception preferred, customer service and/or administrative professional support role - OR an Associate's Degree or higher AND a minimum of 1-year experience in a reception, customer service and/or administrative professional support role - OR any relevant combination of education and experience as determined by the Campus President.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES The Front Desk Receptionist shall demonstrate experience and education commensurate with the responsibilities of the position. Generally, this includes:
- Strong knowledge of a variety of office programs, including Adobe and all forms of Microsoft office.
- Must possess good communication skills, including effective phone skills and must be detail oriented.
- Ability to produce quality output within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Personal effectiveness/creditably with staff and students; thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal collaboration skills; the flexibility to quickly shift gears and change tasks.
