Position Summary:
As a Project Manager at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. The Project Manager manages the end-to-end project lifecycle for either executive sponsored or service line projects that supports the organization development and integration of new and expanded programs or supports the service line's teams of senior leaders in carrying out projects. Serves as a hub for the management of various administrative, including scheduling meetings, developing, and tracking project milestones, and reporting progress of projects. Within the service line the Project Manager would serve as a hub for quality tasks, including tasks related to compliance with regulatory bodies and process improvement initiatives. The role requires data entry and collection responsibilities as well as generating applicable reports and analysis of trends. The position may represent the project or service line at the corporate level or other committees as needed. The Project Manager is dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates a customer-friendly environment. Establishes/maintains mutually constructive relationships with customer (both internal and external).
- Directs and manages project development and execution from beginning to end, including successful closure.
- Assists project teams in creating long- and short-term plans, including settings targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Delegates project tasks to employees best positioned to complete them and ensures timely completion.
- Serves as a point of contact for project teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain consistent and on track with requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Adjusts project schedules and targets as needed.
- Manages reports and necessary documentation of the project.
- Support processes that require reporting and data and analyzing it
- Evaluates/monitors the impact of program or process, recommending and implementing changes.
- Develops/maintains up-to-date record keeping systems, including data collection, data analysis and tracking related activity.
- Develops/maintains an up-to-date understanding of Pine Rest programs and their needs.
- May act as a consultant in area of specialty to other department members and managers.
- Makes recommendations on procedures, reports, and/or computer system changes related to program.
- Effectively communicates program/procedural changes to appropriate individuals, groups, or organization.
- Complies with internal and external policy.
- May assist with annual budget process.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Works with internal departments to facilitate and coordinate completion of projects.
- Continuous use of critical thinking skills and creativity to foster process improvements.
- Active member to select committees.
- Analyzes and monitors data trends.
- Maintains technical knowledge through continued education.
- Responsible to uphold the healing ministry of Christ though relationships that honor integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and professional excellence.
- Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.
- Performs other duties or functions as assigned.
What Does this Role Require: Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/IT/Healthcare Administration or a related field required. Equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
- Minimum 1 year of project management experience in healthcare environment or 2-3 years demonstrating the management of business projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- PMP certification required, or at minimum completed within first year of employment.
- Smart Sheets certification preferred.
