Your Day at Lowe's

In this role, you will keep shelves stocked and the backroom organized by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean workspace. Assisting customers in locating or loading products may also be a part of your job. Your shifts will demand physical activity, with potential scheduling during morning, evening, or overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and answering their questions.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Ensure store operations run smoothly by verifying deliveries and utilizing equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by adhering to proper procedures.
• Operate store equipment such as scanners and pallet jacks.
• Collaborate as a team member to complete additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months of experience operating forklift or similar power equipment.
• 6 months of experience in a warehouse setting focused on inventory handling and stocking.

Working Conditions

This role may involve working in varying environmental conditions, both inside and outside. You may encounter extreme temperatures or weather conditions and may experience intermittent noise and movement. Safe lifting methods are crucial, with guidelines that limit single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are recommended for heavier loads, and powered equipment should be utilized as required.
