Registered Behavior Technician - IDD - California

Overview
We are seeking passionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team. As an RBT, you will implement individualized behavioral plans, support clients in their daily routines, and contribute to their overall well-being. Your work will directly impact the growth and success of individuals with IDD, making this position both rewarding and impactful.

Required Skills

  • Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, families, and team members
  • Patience, empathy, and professionalism
  • Ability to accurately record data and track progress
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD or in a behavioral health setting
  • Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish speakers, are a plus
  • Familiarity with crisis management tools such as Ukeru and Proact
  • CPR certification and training in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
Preferred Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred)
  • Previous experience as an RBT or in behavioral support roles is advantageous
  • Prior experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities
Other Requirements
  • Ukeru, Proact, and CPR certifications preferred or willingness to obtain prior to onboarding
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required
  • Must be willing to participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development
  • Reliable transportation for travel between client sites if necessary
