Kroger is seeking Front End Leads / Cashiers to assist with customer service, supervise front-end operations, and support daily store operations. Front End Leads are responsible for operating cash registers, assisting customers, supervising cashiers and baggers during shifts, handling customer service issues, processing returns and exchanges, monitoring self-checkout stations, and ensuring the front-end area runs efficiently. Leads may also assist with scheduling breaks, training new cashiers, handling cash management tasks, and providing support during busy periods. This position typically pays $15 to $21 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on location and experience.Front End Leads and Cashiers are responsible for scanning items, processing payments, assisting customers with questions, handling returns, monitoring self-checkout lanes, maintaining front-end organization and cleanliness, and providing customer service.
