$4000 Sign on Bonus

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $24-28/ hour. The actual rate offered willcarefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location

Schedule

Full-time (40 hours/week), 5 days/week, with some Saturdays.

About You

You'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills

• Personable and collaborative, with a strong team-first mindset and high emotional intelligence
• Compassionate communicator who demonstrates empathy with clients and teammates
• 1+ year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting
• Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology and common clinical procedures
• Ability to safely handle, lift, and restrain a variety of animal species
• Proficiency in venipuncture, radiology, IV catheter placement, drug calculations, and medication/fluid administration
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working with computers and practice software

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with veterinarians to provide excellent medical care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
• Assist with surgeries, procedures, and treatments in alignment with RVT credentialed duties
• Support smooth patient flow and enhance team efficiency through proactive communication
• Guide clients through individualized health concerns, treatment plans, medications, and Thrive Membership benefits
• Maintain accurate, thorough medical records
• Obtain detailed patient histories and document findings
• Ensure safety and organization through proper restraint and maintain a clean, sterile, well-organized workspace
• Mentor and support teammates to help build a collaborative, uplifting environment
