divh2Property Damage Restoration Estimator/h2pExecute the timely, accurate, and profitable estimation of property losses. Help close and retain customers by promptly responding to requests for estimates on property damage, effectively communicating the organizations capabilities while maintaining the highest levels of customer care. Create high levels of customer satisfaction by exceeding their expectations and fulfilling the companys contractual obligations through the timely and profitable delivery of restoration services. Facilitate the timely and profitable delivery of all services required to rapidly return customers property to pre-loss condition, minimizing repairs, and downtime following property damage./ppPrimary Duties and Responsibilities/pulliMeet or exceed established targets for responding to and completing estimates on losses/liliMaintain strategic relationships with vendors and subcontractors/liliMeet or exceed profitability targets on managed projects/liliPlan and execute projects to completion/liliObtain written contracts and payment terms for projects/liliMaintain efficient and accurate flow of production paperwork from the job site to administration/liliCoordinate resource planning of technicians, laborers, and subcontractors with scheduler/liliTrack equipment used on company jobs/liliMaintain market leadership through continuous implementation of state-of-the-art technology as it pertains to the delivery of our services/liliCoordinate estimates from subcontractors/liliWrite job estimates/liliOrder materials required for projects and coordinate delivery to job site/liliMaintain effective communication with customers and all involved parties including third-party owners, building engineers, property managers, tenants, etc./liliPerform property inspections and complete reports/liliInspect and scope projects in a timely fashion./liliUse Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, wind and mold restoration projects./liliCreate accurate and profitable job estimates./liliPrepare written proposals./liliDevelop list of materials and equipment needed for projects./liliObtain pricing for materials./liliObtain bids from subcontractors./liliCompleted estimates will be forwarded to the customer within four (4) business days of the property inspection./liliCommunicate with customers; set realistic expectations./liliMaintain project files./liliAttend customer-related functions. Network with customers to help generate new business./liliBuild and maintain relationships with claims adjusters and contractors./liliClose business obtain customer commitment./li/ulpWorking Relationships and Scope/pulliAll adjustments, modifications, and corrections will be evidenced in writing and maintained in good order. Associate (2 year) degree or bachelors (4 year) degree in business or construction management preferred. Advanced knowledge of building construction, remodeling, or restoration. Understands the relationship between direct labor and profitability./liliLanguage Skills Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees./liliMathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages, and draw and interpret property sketches and graphs./liliReasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding and to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations./liliComputer Skills Intermediate capability in using word processing software, spreadsheet software, email systems, and the internet. Experience with Xactimate and Xactware required./liliCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations None required for this position.
