Position Summary The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading Apex's revenue growth strategy through business development, sales leadership, and marketing execution. This role owns the development of a qualified pipeline, the pursuit and closing of new managed services business, and the alignment of marketing programs to Apex's target client profile and growth goals. The Director serves as a member of Apex's leadership team and acts as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor in support of net new recurring revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales leadership, business development, or revenue leadership roles
  • Strong experience selling B2B technology services, managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, or related offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to build qualified pipeline and close complex consultative sales opportunities
  • Experience managing both sales execution and marketing performance
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with RFP processes, contracts, and structured sales methodologies such as the Sandler Selling System
  • Strong CRM, forecasting, and pipeline management discipline

Salary expected at $80,000 to $90,000 Dependent on Experience plus commission.
