Special Education Teacher

The Special Education Teacher provides individualized education programs to students. The teacher is responsible for developing, implementing and relating the daily activities of the students to the core curriculum. Through continuous collaboration with a variety of individuals and groups, including parents, district and county personnel and various agencies, the Teacher provides for the academic, social and emotional growth of each student by using a variety of instructional strategies. The Teacher continually assesses students' progress to maximize their fullest potential.

-Valid California credential authorizing service to students with Moderate/Severe disabilities OR Mild/Moderate Credential with Autism Certification. -Must have CLAD or equivalent As a recruitment incentive, the Education Specialist Teacher shall be granted a sum of up to ten thousand ($10,000) 1st payment of $5,000. to be paid in the first paycheck; 2nd payment of $2,500. to be paid at the end of the 1st school year; 3rd payment of $2,500 to be paid at the end of the 2nd school year providing the employee is in active paid status at the time of final school year paycheck.
