As our Dispatcher, you will efficiently manage the dispatch of vehicles for the Program's transportation system, ensuring cost-effective and timely services in accordance with all program requirements. Every day you will schedule transportation for clients throughout the service area in a cost-efficient manner. Additionally, you may periodically supervise Transportation Department Staff in the absence of leadership. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, a strong ability to manage logistics and scheduling, and contribute to the cost-efficient delivery of transportation services, all while functioning effectively under direct supervision. Receives incoming transportation calls, provide information and schedules reservations in accordance with Program and transit schedules. Records scheduled rides to be issued to drivers and, as appropriate, effectively dispatches vehicles to respond to immediate transit needs.
