The Senior Designer is responsible for leading all design phases for interiors projects, establishes the vision, leads the team, and has extensive client interaction./ppSpecific responsibilities include:/pulliDevelops overall design for project/liliDirects staff to complete design and technical drawing/liliReviews design and technical drawing of other more junior designers/liliReview of engineering drawings to ensure they comply with design solution/liliWorks with technical staff to resolve inconsistencies in drawings/liliResearches and selects fixtures and finishes to use for projects/liliObtain client approval and ensure integration into overall design/liliProduces, reviews and finalizes space plans for projects/liliExtensive knowledge of detailing and finalizes details on projects/liliDevelops and delivers overall design and furniture packages/liliManages overall design budget/liliManages the work of other Designers/liliOversees tasks and provide feedback on work product/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliGraduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted/lili8+ years experience in corporate interior design projects/li/ulpKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/pulliExtensive knowledge of design principles and aesthetics/liliExtensive knowledge of space planning methodology/liliExpert sketching and rendering skills/liliExpert interior architecture detailing skills/liliExtensive knowledge of CDs and procedures/liliExtensive knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements/liliAdvanced Revit skills/liliAdvanced Adobe Creative Suite skills/liliExtensive verbal and written communication skills/liliExtensive presentation and graphic communication/liliDemonstrated ability to manage and lead staff through a combination of direct authority and subject matter expertise/liliWorking knowledge of budget preparation and proven ability to manage projects within budgetary constraints/li/ulpSalary Range: $105,000 - $120,000 annually based on education, licensing and relevant industry experience/ppInterior Architects, Inc.
