Details Acute care hospital setting within a Rehab unit serving PT, OT, and Speech therapy patients Level II Trauma Center 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (7:00am–5:30pm) Every 3rd weekend required Holidays worked on a rotating basis with permanent staff across all modalities Cerner EMR in use No floating required PT aides available on unit to support daily operations Hospitalist available 24/7; RT and Pharmacy also available 24/7 Requirements Active OT license for the state of California required; license must be active at time of consideration — pending licenses will not be accepted Minimum 2 years of OT experience required Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience required Current BLS certification required COVID vaccine required Cerner EMR experience preferred Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position 8 hours of floor-specific orientation provided Dress code requires a burgundy polo or button-down long-sleeve shirt (available through the hospital vendor) and solid dark pants — no scrubs allowed Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-709971.
