The Housing Program Support Specialist provides essential administrative and program coordination support to the Transitional Housing Program Manager and housing team. This position ensures the daily operations of the Transitional Housing Program run efficientlysupporting both staff and clients through organization, communication, and a trauma-informed approach.
In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Support Specialist may occasionally serve as the first point of contact for clients when other staff are unavailable, offering calm, non-judgmental, trauma-informed peer support and assistance in navigating immediate needs or connecting with appropriate staff and resources.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career in social services or nonprofit work who enjoys administrative support, logistics, and being part of a compassionate, mission-driven team.
$24.00-$27.00 per hour DOE
