Air Shasta 407/429 Field MechanicAll candidates interested in joining the Air Shasta team as a 407/429 Field Mechanic must possess the following qualifications and meet the specified job requirements.QualificationsFAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)Minimum of 2 years as a licensed mechanic on B407/B429, or 1 year licensed with a Bell Factory CourseCardable – Previous USFS/OAS Carding preferredKnowledge of FARs 91, 133, 135, and 145 (preferred)Training or experience on B206, B407, B429, or H-60 series (preferred)Commercial Driver's License with HAZMAT/TANK endorsements required; candidates without HAZMAT must be willing to obtain it immediately after hireAbility to work independently and tolerate high stress while maintaining professionalismAbility to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving situationsPre‑employment drug screening and random drug screening requiredResponsibilitiesThe Field/Base Mechanic will perform a variety of helicopter maintenance functions, including but not limited to detailed scheduled and unscheduled inspections, servicing, preventative maintenance, and minor and major repairs and/or alterations.
