This position is 25 hours per week; 10 of those hours are in exchange for a 2-bedroom unit and additional hours compensated at $22 to $24 per hour (based on experience). Move-in after completion of 30 days of successful employment. This role is essential in keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained for our residents. Responsibilities include daily upkeep of common areas, routine inspections, minor repairs, and support for property operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain trash rooms, trash chutes, and dumpster areas; move trash dumpsters to the curb for pick-up several times a week.Empty doggie relief stations and remove trash and litter from the exterior of the building and sidewalks daily.Perform small handyman repairs in units and common areas (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance fixes within scope of ability).Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas, reporting any issues requiring additional attention.Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and outdoor grounds.Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.Monitor building systems and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or repair needs.Support the property management team with special projects as assigned.QualificationsPrevious maintenance or handyman experience preferred, especially in residential or multifamily housing.Ability to safely operate basic tools and cleaning equipment.General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry is a plus.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.Positive, self‑motivated, and customer‑service oriented.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work such as bending, climbing, and carrying.Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.SchedulePart‑Time; Wednesday thru Sunday (or) Thursday thru Monday.Flexibility to assist with occasional after‑hours emergencies is preferred.CompensationCompetitive hourly wage based on experience.Benefits may be available depending on position status (full‑time/part‑time).What We're Looking ForMust live on‑site (a 2‑bedroom unit is part of compensation package)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail‑oriented with the ability to meet deadlinesComfortable working with a wide range of personalitiesSelf‑starter who can take initiative while also following directionsBasic computer skills and the ability to use email dailyAbility to stay organized and manage light but varied responsibilitiesResident management experience preferred but not requiredIf you are dependable, approachable, and ready to be a consistent presence in your community, we encourage you to apply!* Background Check and drug testing will be required. ** Fair Housing Training will be provided.#J-18808-Ljbffr
