Please email resume or bring to 1150 California street Redding.ResponsibilitiesInspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accuratelyInspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgradeConduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevityRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance jobFabricate and assemble structural and miscellaneous metal products.Keep logs on work and issuesMaintain equipment and tools in good conditionSkillsProven experience as auto mechanicExcellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehiclesWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsPrior experience fabricating steel, aluminum and/or stainless steelFabrication (layout, fit-up, welding, grinding)Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.Excellent physical conditionHigh school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferredMust have valid drivers license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuouslyWill receive paid holidays, paid vacation, benefits and 401k with partial matchingCompensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourAbout the CompanyAt Point S Tire, our employees become like family.
